Jack and Mark can be found playing in the Strawberry Hall, in Dublin’s Strawberry Beds, every Monday night as part of the long running twelve year residency of The Last Straw.
In December 2015 they decided to put a two piece band together and came up with Short Straw as a means of further exploring their unique styles together.
Both Jack and Mark have toured extensively throughout their careers with a list of names that would be considered a who’s who in the music business.
Their set on any given night can comprise anything from Tin Pan Alley greats like Gershwin,Berlin or Porter from the 1930’s or 1940’s, to modern day giants like Bruno Mars, covering anyone from The Beatles to The Kinks in between.
Short Straw are the ideal compliment to any drinks reception or company function, and their unique blend will lend to a happy and relaxed vibe in any pub or club.
