bobby mc & the dukes

Swing was born in the backstreet clubs of America during prohibition. It was exciting, fun, energetic, wild.

Bobby Mc and The Dukes are bringing that experience back with their vibrant live set. Combining old swing and jazz classics with modern songs done in a jazz style, there’s something for everyone. The band is made up primarily of Keys, Double Bass, Drums, Guitar, Tenor Sax and fronted by Bobby Mc. They are also joined by a full brass section for their bigger events.

The band have gone from strength to strength in the last year, performing their brand new theatre show, Bobby Mc’s Speakeasy, in theatres across Ireland as well as making their debut at the world renowned Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. The band also regularly play for big gigs and events all over Dublin.

From Georgia to Copacabana, from Ray Charles to Barry Manilow, Bobby Mc and The Dukes play songs from some of the greats of Jazz and Swing. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole and more recently, Michael Buble. They also do songs from acts like The Backstreet Boys and Rihanna but just how they like their martinis, with a little twist.
